Academy Awards 2012
This year Academy Awards are 84 years old. There were 24 categories and there were 24 oscars for the candidates.In my opinion this night was very beautiful!!!!! The main award categories were: Best Picture, Actor In a Leading Role, Actress In a Leading Role, Actor In a Supporting Role, Actress In a Supporting Role, Directing and Music.
The candidates for the Best Picture were: The Artist, The Descendants, Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, The help, Midnight in Paris, Moneyball, The tree of life and War Horse. The winner was The Artist.
The next category is Actor In a Leading Role and the candidates for this category were: Demian Bichir, George Clooney, Jean Dujardin, Gary Oldman and Brad Pitt. Jean Dujurdin was awared the Oscar.
The candidates for the Actress In a Leading Role were: Glenn Close, Viola Davis, Rooney Mara, Meryl Streep and Michele Williams. The winner was Meryl Streep.
Actor In a Supporting Role was the ext category. There were 5 nominees for this oscar.The candidates were: Kenneth Branagh, Jonah Hill, Nick Notte, Christopher Plummer and Max von Sydow. Christopher Plummer was the winner.
The next category was Actress In a Supporting Role and the oscar nominations were 5. Berenice Bejo, Jessica Chastain, Melissa Mc Carthy, Janet Mc Teer and Octavia Spencer are candidates for this category. The winner was Octavia Spencer.
The next category iwas Directing and the candidates were: The Artist, The Descendants, Hugo, Midnight in Paris and The Tree of Life. The winner iwas The Artist.
The last category was Music (Original Song) and the oscar nominations were 2. These were: Man or Muppet from The Muppets and the Real in RIO from RIO. Man or Muppet was winner.
The Academy Awards is the biggest night in Hollywood. I like this day and I want to take an oscar!!! 😀

Bobhras, this posting is AMAZING! Although I didn’t watch the Oscars this year, now I know who took the awards in each category, thanks to your posting. You are always up to date!!! Congratulations!!!
PS. I would be very interested in reading a posting about the outfits the candidates wore that night. They are always luxurious and elegant and I didn’t see the dresseds they wore this year! Why don’t you prepare a presentation?
