Guest posting: Interview with a writer

Hello everyone!

We are the 5th class of the 2nd Primary School of Akrata.

This is an interview with Mrs Anastasia Efstathiou. She is our headteacher and a famous writer.

Her books are : ‘Mια κάλτσα που την λέγαν Ευριδίκη’ (1999), ‘Η Κόρη των Αιγών’ (2002), ‘Το ατύχημα του Αϊ Βασίλη’ (2005), ‘Χριστούγεννα στη Γελανδία’ (2007) και ‘Με το μελάνι της σουπιάς’ (2010).


Interviewers: We are very happy to have such a famous writer here today! How much time do you need to write a book?

Mrs. Tasia: I need eight months; 6 months to think about the story and two months to write the story.

Interviewers: Where do you write your books? Do you write in the living room?

Mrs. Tasia: I write my books in my study.

Interviewers: How do you write your books? On computer or with a pencil?

Mrs. Tasia: I write my books on my laptop.

Interviewers: Do you have a helper or do you write alone?

Mrs. Tasia: I write alone but I get inspired by my pupils.

Interviewers: Do you eat fruits when you write?

Mrs. Tasia: I always drink coffee and I always eat biscuits and chocolate and sometimes fruit.

Interviewers: Do you listen to music when you write? If yes, what kind of music do you listen to?

Mrs. Tasia: I listen to music before I write and I usually listen to soft music.

Interviewers: How often do you write a book?

Mrs. Tasia: I write my books every afternoon.

Interviewers: Do you read other books?

Mrs. Tasia: I read newspapers and a lot of books.

Interviewers: Where do you get ideas for your books from?

Mrs. Tasia: I get ideas from my students.

Interviewers: Thank you. It was a pleasure having you here!

Mrs. Tasia: Thank you, too!

    Your interview about the Mrs. Tasia is very interesting ! I learnt more information about her work and her books ! In my opinion, it is imprortant to know about an author of fairy tales, because we grow up with them and we learn things which will be very useful for our life!
