«The 3 R’s» song by Jack Johnson is a great way to to make students remember the 3 correct steps to deal with rubbish and protect the environment from pollution. «Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?» by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle is a perfect book to use to teach or revise colours and animals. I first used it in an eTwinning project, «Let’s Read Together» , and the pupils loved it!
First, you can teach/revise colours using a presentation, like this one: COLOURS PRESENTATION- WORDS. Then, you can show a video-reading of the book : Smartkids E-library _Brown Bear Brown Bear_ by Eric Carle, followed up by the same story as a song and oral exercise.
Next, you can hand out to the pupils worksheets, such as this one: BROWN BEAR!
You can even make a hand puppet and role play the story. Have fun!
