We are participating in an Erasmus+ project, Digital Citizenship from Academic Milieu.
Our aim is to create a perception of digital citizenship in students and the nine dimensions of digital citizenship:
(1) digital access,
(2) digital commerce,
(3) digital communication,
(4) digital literacy,
(5) digital ethics,
(6) digital law,
(7) digital rights/responsibilities,
(8) digital health
(9) digital security
and also raise awareness about the conscious, safe and effective use of the internet.
In the 2021 OECD report (21st Century Children as Digital Citizens), the development of digital skills in childhood is considered fundamental to enable children to engage with digital technologies safely and effectively at home, at school and later at work.
