Time passes but memories don’t…Actually I don’t even know where to start from because I have so many things to say about my Erasmus experience that indeed will give me the opportunity to reminisce that unforgettable trip in Spain.
To begin with, I would like to thank every single person who contributed in my having the best experience in my entire life. Erasmus program gave me the chance to meet new people , make new friends , learn many interesting things about different cultures and finally visit many mezmerising places in both Tarragona and Barcelona.
Our visit in Spain made me perceive the actual meaning of cooperation as we had to form different groups and cooperate with different people. Moreover , I was capable of communicating with other people in either English or Spanish as I can speak both languages and as a result I had the opportunity to improve my linguistic skills.
Visiting the city of Tarragona took me to another time. It was a really beautiful coastal place full of ancient buildings and important landmarks that represented the significance of Tarragona’s history. We visited many historical places in Tarragona that showed the way that the Romans influenced the city, like the Roman walls , the amphitheatre of Tarragona and the Aqueducte de les Ferreres. We also visited many places that were linked with Antonio Gaudi’s life and works.
We visited his birthplace , the church that he was baptized and many museums that exposed his works and his achievements. I had the opportunity to broaden my horizons and learn many new and interesting things about important monuments , famous architects and significant facts of history that I hadn’t ever thought about them.
After visiting Tarragona we went to the city of  Barcelona where words cannot explain and describe what we actually experienced there. We visited the most popular and admirable work of Antonio Gaudi , La Sagrada Familia. It is actually a synthesis of his architectural evolution that gives you the impression of being inside a magical forest. Furthermore , we visited the Park Guell that seemed to be a public park system composed of gardens and architectonic elements that reflected Gaudi’s artistic plenitude.
After all these impressive places that I visited in Spain and all these interesting things that I learned there too I must say that sometimes we must let go of the life we have planned so as to chase the one that is waiting for us. We need to be more determined and brave as the best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today.
Erasmus made me understand that if you want to achieve a goal you have to work for it either alone or in cooperation with other people. By sharing opinions and thoughts about various issues or beliefs I realized that we all have common expectations , ambitions , dreams and we all hope for a better future.
Everyone is unique and has his or hers special inclinations and talents that really make a person stand out. At this point I would like to thank for one more time everyone who contributed to that amazing experience that benefited us in many different ways. Just remember that what matters in life is the journey not the destination so it is obvious that the
Erasmus journey offered us a lot of benefits and personally I realized the meaning of friendship and cooperation  with other people and I perceived that impossible things actually seem to be goals in life that you may achieve in a more easy way. Maybe I wrote many things , maybe not but what I can say is that opportunities like Erasmus program only come once in a lifetime so we all should just give it a try and wait for a satisfying outcome!
Maybe it’s time to go now… WITH MUCH LOVE FROM ATHENS GREECE
