If someone asked me to decribe my experience from my participation
at the Erasmus+ program with one word,i would not be able of giving a
simple one word answer.Every time that I reminisce the days spent there,a
sweet and at the same time painful comb strikes my throat and my
heart.The feelings cannot be measured or dropped into categories.
Through our first trip with our program we met some of the most
incredible people that we have ever met so far.Students from six different
countries(Hungary,Italy,Spain,Turkey,Romania,Greece) cooparated with
great harmony.
We arrived at Budapest at 17/03/2015,12:30 local time and we could
not imagine what great times would unfold ahead of us.The first day we
met the Hungarian and the Turkish students.The second day we met the
Italian,the Spanish and the Romanian students.It only took us some
minutes in order to introduce ourselves and then we felt really familiar as
if we were not completely strangers.From that moment we became
inseparable.
During our stay in Budapest we visited some really amazing and
picturesque places that were different from the monuments and
architecture that we have in Greece.Some of the places that trully amazed
me where the Stephens Basilica and of course the enormous Hungarian
parliament.Budapest’s nature is significantly interesting.Although we
visited Hungary in a period of the year where the trees were not blooming
we realised from our visits to parks and mountains that Budapest’s nature
is generous.
The tasks that we had to complete motivated us to learn new things due to
the fact that they were trully interesting.The projects were interactive so
we had a great time completing them.
Through this trip we came in touch with other cultures and we
discovered new traditions,ways of thinking,civilizations and languages.We
ascertained for one more time that racism does not belong between us and
that should be marginalizated.
One of the best functions of our trip according to my opinion is the fact
that we unfolded our horizones.We rejected stereotypes,we made strong
friendships that I hope will last,we laughed with our heart..Incredible
moments that will stay indelible in my memory.I force my self to
remember one bad thing that happened but I cannot recall any….oh yes!
except the food.We can just say that our tastes are not so close…
In coclusion,after thinking of all our great moments at the trip,i came up
with the word that I would finally use to decribe my
experience.”Indescribable” I would say….
