Tips for staying safe online

Keep your personal information!

  • Don’t post any personal information online – like your address, email address or mobile number.
  • Think carefully before posting pictures or videos of yourself. 
  • Never give out your passwords.

Protect yourself!

  • Don’t befriend people you don’t know.
  • Don’t meet up with people you’ve met online.  
  • Remember that not everyone online is who they say they are.

Remember!

Respect other people’s views, even if you don’t agree with someone else’s views doesn’t mean you need to be rude.

A detective Portfolio!

All year round we were working on a detective portfolio!! 

For each site visited or ICT tool used a graphic from the site as well as its URL were added on.

Eventually, all together, we created a document page full of colorful graphics from the sites we visited and the tools we used.

Our ambition was to have a variety of web 2.0 tools incorporated into our project in order to ensure effective tech integration and to put more technology in our students’ hands and our colleagues’ minds.

We are going to cooperate with students from The Czech Republic and Spain and our goal is to communicate through English, develop our linguistic, social and creative skills but above all to make autonomous, thinking students while having fun!

The Kahoot!!

The Kahoot!! A multicultural quiz!

Our acquaintance was sealed with a multicultural quiz that emerged from the information the students themselves drew in their presentations and was co-developed by the teachers of the participating countries!

Kahoot is a free online tool that allows teachers to quickly and easily create playful quizzes in order to evaluate their pupils in real time. The quizzes are shown in the classroom and each student answers them through his own device (computer, tablet, smartphone).
