Οι Deep Purple είναι ένα αγγλικό ροκ συγκρότημα, το οποίο δημιουργήθηκε στο Χέρτφορντσαϊρ το 1968. Έχουν μπει στο Βιβλίο των Ρεκόρ Γκίνες σαν το πιο θορυβώδες συγκρότημα και έχουν πουλήσει πάνω από 100.000.000 δίσκους. Αποτελούνται από τον Ian Gillan ο οποίος τραγουδάει και γράφει στίχους, τον Roger Glover που παίζει μπάσο, αρμόνιο και γράφει τραγούδια, τον Ian Paice που παίζει ντραμς, τον Steve Morse που παίζει κιθάρα και τον Don Airey που παίζει αρμόνιο.
