I am dyslexic (a poem)
I can see, I can hear,
I can play and that’s clear
I can talk, I can sing
Everything around, makes me think
All I do is o.k.
So what’s wrong with B C A…?
Am I stupid or what?
I mix them so much!
My mum told me “No”
“You are different” my teacher said
And I kept it in my head!
I am not alone here
I have peers,
and like me, there are some here
I have friends to help me out
and no more will I pout
I will try at my pace
I’ll win my life’s race!
