We all created a digital Easter card together, using Colorillo, an online collaborative painting tool.
We create beautiful Easter cards and exchanged them by mail. When we received them, we decorated our classrooms with the cards.
We also created the following presentation with digital cards and more.
A Magical Day with Book Heroes and International Friends!
We connected online with the school in Modena. During the connection, we presented the book The Little Fish Who Wanted to Fly, which explores the theme of perseverance and dreams. The children from Italy, in turn, told us the story Your Alien, a book that deals with friendship and acceptance of difference.
Then, we shared our musical tradition by singing “Lazarakia”.
Finally, we played the game “Which Hero Am I?” together. The children from the Greek school dressed up as heroes from children’s books and the children from Italy tried to guess the heroes.
It was a wonderful experience, giving us the opportunity to share our love of books with our peers from another country and discover new stories that inspire us. These activities remind us of how important reading and contact with different cultures are.
The books were presented at the online meeting

The 2nd online meeting with students from Modena, Italy took place on 10/2/25.
During the meeting, we presented myths from Greek mythology. The children of the class from Greece presented “Odysseus on the island of the Cyclops”, while the children from Italy presented “Pandora’s box”. When the presentations were over, the Italian school had prepared a surprise. The children presented the myth of Pandora in a theatrical event starring the children themselves, in Italian. At the end of the meeting, each class sang a song in their own language. We had a really great time!
We look forward to the next opportunity to meet and continue this wonderful journey of knowledge!
