Our project

MAIN IDEAS 

  The school year project is about a “ journey”  throught different school subjects (Mythology, Coding activities, Maths and other)   following the cooperative method among Italian, Greek and Polish classes.

We teachers thought to work about different activities integrated to our school programs, but like a very big European class, sharing parts of work just to create common products.

Some activities were stimulating students’ ideas and thougths (brainstorming method), other ones were done in small groups of students (cooperative learning method) just to stimulate creativity and solutions (problem solving method).

The European Key competences implemented in the project are:

• Literacy competence
• Multilingual competence
• Mathematical and Technological competence
• Digital competence
• Personal, social and learning to learn competence
• Citizenship competence
• Cultural awareness and expression competence

At the beginning of the project, we, the teachers, wrote down our initial ideas in a shared Google Document, which we continued to use throughout the project to organize our work, outline our common goals, and coordinate all activities. We held an online meeting on November 8th, 2024, exclusively among teachers, to discuss and understand how to implement the main ideas. Throughout the project, we communicated via WhatsApp to stay constantly connected and to manage everything more efficiently. As a teaching method, we adopted cooperative learning. While some activities were carried out collectively by the whole class using the brainstorming method.

Also, one of the first things we did was to obtain parental consent.
