Regarding mythology, we did many collaborative and creative activities.
- In the context of a creative and collaborative activity, the students jointly created digital books on Storyjumper. The Greek students chose the myth of Odysseus on the island of the Cyclops, the Italian students Pandora’s box and the Polish, Icarus and Daedalus. The pupils created the myth they had chosen in its entirety but in Storyjumper they uploaded the beginning and intermediate parts so that the rest could be completed by the other classes.
The following plan was created:
- – Greek school will present “Odysseus on the island of the Cyclops”
- Page 9: missing the text (In the 1st picture Odysseus and the soldiers look inside the cave and in the 2nd picture we write what they saw inside the cave and if anyone was inside) Written by Italian students.
- Page 10 : missing the text (Odysseus and his soldiers sit down to eat in the cave and the Cyclops appears) Written by Italian students.
- Page 15: missing the 2nd image and text (the Cyclops appears and Odysseus gives him wine to drink) MADE by Italian students
- Page 17: missing the image. (Odysseus and the soldiers make the wood with which they will blind the Cyclop.) MADE by Italian students
- Page 19: 2 images and texts are missing. (In the 1st The blind Cyclops cries out for help! I can’t see! In the 2nd picture he searches with his hands for Odysseus and the soldiers and says: I know you are here. You won’t get away. You will all die.) MADE by Italian students
- Page 22: image is missing. The Cyclops sits at the entrance of the cave. The sheep come out and he touches them with his hands. Odysseus and the soldiers are tied under the sheep MADE by Greek students
- Page 26: image and text missing. Polyphemus begs his father Poseidon to punish Odysseus and never return to his homeland, Ithaca. MADE by Greek students
- – Italian school will present “Pandora’s box”
- page 36-37 the picture is missing (suggestion: a village with huts) and also the written text MADE by Greek students
- page 46-47 picture and text are missing (Pandora opens the box and evils go out) MADE by Greek students
- page 48-49 picture and text are missing (inside the box there is Hope, it can be drawn as a butterfly or a small fairy) MADE by Greek students
- – Polish school will present “Daedalus and Icarus” Unfortunately, the Polish pupils were unable to create the myth of Daedalus and Icarus, which they had initially chosen. So this myth MADE by Greek and Italian pupils.
