Το σχολείο μας έχει τη χαρά να συμμετέχει  σε ένα etwinning project με θέμα:Easter Recipes’ Book Around the world.

About the project

Easter Recipes Around the World is a project to share and learn about different cultures and traditions.
It will consist of uploading to a Padlet a typical recipe for the Easter season in our country, town, etc,
If we have foreign students in our class, we can ask them to upload a recipe about their country, favouring inclusion.
It can be with a video, a text, a picture…
The students can comment on each recipe and even try the recipes at home!

 

AIMS

To learn cultural aspects of different countries.
To broaden our student’s minds.
To create bonds between countries by understanding both the similarities and differences that enrich us.
To learn vocabulary related with food in English language.
To learn verbs related with cooking in English language.
To learn the English language in context.

 

WORK PROCESS

This activity will be carried out through the Easter season.
From April the 4th to April the 18th students will upload the recipes to the Padlet.
From the 18th to the 30th students will try the recipes and comment about them.

 

EXPECTED RESULTS

The final padlet can be uploaded and shared in the school blog for the families to see, try and practice these recipes and to foster respect between other countries in our Community.

H συνταγή μας με την οποία συμμετέχουμε

Recipe LAZARAKIA

 Ingredients

1kg flour

½ cup of olive oil

½ cup of sugar

2 cups of raisins

 16gr dry yeast

2 teaspoons of cinnamon

 

1.Weigh and measure all your materials

  1. In a cup of lukewarm water dissolve the yeast
  2. In a large bowl put the flour add the sugar, the oil and the yeast.
  3. Knead with your own hands
  4. Add the raisins and cinnamon and mix
  5. Leave it in a warm place for half an hour to inflate
  6. Shape small buns, make them little hands and put raisins for mouth and eyes.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°c for 30 minutes
