Daily trip to Delphi and Galaxidi during the 3rd Meeting (24/5/17)

During the fourth day of the partners’ visit in Greece, they visited the archeological site of Delphi, which is situated close to Lamia (1,5 hrs drive) and in ancient times it was considered to be the navel of the world. Next to the archeological site there is the museum of Delphi, one of the principal museums of Greece and which houses the discoveries made at the panhellenic sanctuary of Delphi, which date from the Late Helladic (Mycenean) period to the early Byzantine era.

After that a visit to Galaxidi was arranged. Galaxidi is a small harbor 15 km southwest of Delphi
