The 2nd EPAL of Karditsa was founded as the 3rd TEE of Karditsa in 2001.The 3rd TEE of Karditsa was turned into 3rd EPAL of Karditsa in 2006. Finally, 3rd EPAL of Karditsa was renamed into 2nd EPAL of Karditsa in 2010.
Mr. Vassilis Kalkantzis (Agriculturist) was the Headmaster since 2001 (year of establishment of the school) until 2011, when he was retired, while for short periods during the decade also served as Headmasters,Mr. Vassilis Stephanopoulos (Agronomist) and Dimitris Bitsios (Electrician). During the early years of the founding of the school, Mr. Thomas Koutsopoulos (Economist) who left us prematurely, was Deputy Director. Honorarily a school staff room was turned into a classroom called ” Thomas Ch. Koutsopoulos “.
In September 2011, Mr. Anastasios Tsiras,Msc (Mechanical), became the Headmaster of the 2nd EPAL of Karditsa and remains in the same position until today. Deputy Directors of the School are Mr. Konstantinos Ntouras, Msc (Economist-Forester) and Mr Athanasios Ifantis (Argiculturist).
