ducational Trip tEo the Center for Processing, Control, and Certification of Forest Reproductive Material

On Friday, March 21, 2025, the fourth-grade students of our school took an educational trip to the Center for Processing, Control, and Certification of Forest Reproductive Material. The purpose of the visit was to familiarize the children with the process of collecting, processing, and inspecting the seeds and fruits of forest trees, as well as to raise their awareness of environmental issues such as the importance of reforestation.
The trip began with a presentation by a forester in an indoor space with a projector, where the children learned about the various types of cones and coniferous trees. Through images and explanations, they discovered how seeds are collected and utilized for reforestation.

Next, we toured where fruits and cones are received and processed. There, the children had the opportunity to touch seeds and fruits while observing up close the sorting and processing procedures using specialized machinery.
After that, we visited the seed quality control laboratory, where a specialist explained to us the importance of ensuring the quality of reproductive material. She demonstrated sterilization machines as well as other specialized devices, including stereoscopes and precision mass measurement instruments.
Following the engaging tour, the children enjoyed a break in a beautiful outdoor natural setting, where they were offered a snack and juice.
The trip concluded with a hands-on planting workshop, where each child planted their own small plant in a pot to take home. where fruits and cones are received and processed. Εκπαιδευτική Εκδρομή στο Κέντρο Επεξεργασίας, Ελέγχου και Πιστοποίησης Δασικού Πολλαπλασιαστικού Υλικού

 

Την Παρασκευή 21 Μαρτίου 2025, οι μαθητές της Δ’ Δημοτικού του σχολείου μας πραγματοποίησαν εκπαιδευτική εκδρομή στο Κέντρο Επεξεργασίας, Ελέγχου και Πιστοποίησης Δασικού Πολλαπλασιαστικού Υλικού. Σκοπός της επίσκεψης ήταν η γνωριμία των παιδιών με τη διαδικασία συλλογής, επεξεργασίας και ελέγχου των σπόρων και των καρπών των δασικών δέντρων, καθώς και η ευαισθητοποίηση τους σε θέματα περιβάλλοντος, όπως η αξία της αναδάσωσης.

Η εκδρομή ξεκίνησε με μια παρουσίαση από δασολόγο, σε εσωτερικό χώρο με προτζέκτορα, όπου τα παιδιά έμαθαν για τα διάφορα είδη κώνων και κωνοφόρων δέντρων. Μέσα από εικόνες και επεξηγήσεις, γνώρισαν πώς συλλέγονται και πώς αξιοποιούνται οι σπόροι για την αναδάσωση.

Στη συνέχεια, ξεναγηθήκαμε στον χώρο παραλαβής και επεξεργασίας καρπών και κώνων. Εκεί, τα παιδιά είχαν την ευκαιρία να αγγίξουν σπόρους και καρπούς, παρακολουθώντας από κοντά τη διαδικασία της διαλογής και της επεξεργασίας τους με ειδικά μηχανήματα.

Έπειτα, επισκεφθήκαμε το εργαστήριο ποιοτικού ελέγχου των σπόρων, όπου μια ειδικός μας εξήγησε τη σημασία του ελέγχου της ποιότητας του πολλαπλασιαστικού υλικού. Μας παρουσίασε μηχανήματα αποστείρωσης, καθώς και άλλες ειδικές συσκευές, στερεοσκοπία και ειδικές συσκευές μέτρησης μάζας.

Μετά την ενδιαφέρουσα ξενάγηση, τα παιδιά απόλαυσαν ένα διάλειμμα σε έναν όμορφο υπαίθριο χώρο στη φύση, όπου τους προσφέρθηκε κολατσιό και χυμός.

Η εκδρομή ολοκληρώθηκε με ένα βιωματικό εργαστήριο φύτευσης, όπου κάθε παιδί φύτεψε το δικό του μικρό φυτό σε γλαστράκι, το οποίο πήρε μαζί του στο σπίτι.
