The second mobility of the Erasmus+ project” Live Mobile, Eat Healthy, Catch Quality’’ took place in Crete, by the coordinator country ,Greece,on the 4th-11th of December,2022. Within the scope of the project 5 teachers from Turkey and 4 teachers from Italy came together with the Greek team in Crete.They participated in the project activities that lasted for a week and the Turkish and Italian team returned to their countries gladly.
On the first day,they participated in many great activities at 2nd Primary school of Agios Nikolaos prepared by the host country,Greece, such as welcoming activities,waste food eco show,presentation of food day posters,presentation of mobility poster by the art teacher,project song presentation by Music teacher,video presentation of each country and icebreaking activities.
Local food prepared by the host country was truly a great experience to present cross-cultural traditions.
On the second day,Erasmus teams participated in town’s local festivities in Agios Nikolaos and they met at a local restaurant for a welcoming lunch.
On the third day of the mobility, local authorities were visited.They presented their own town’s cultural and sports activities to the partners of Erasmus project and informed them about the town.We really thank them for their great hospitality.
Besides this,many project workshops like local dance ‘Greek Syrtaki’,discussion with Nutritionist,Psychologist and Physical Education Teacher were held on.
On the fourth day,A school trip to Cretan Herb Museum,Women’s Food Corporation and Oil Factory was organized,a short workshop was held at the school to determine the main objectives of the third virtual meeting (host country Turkey) and the certificates were presented to the project partners of Italy and Turkey.
On the last day of the mobility,A school trip to Heraklion including Archaeological Museum and guided tour at the historical center was organized and spent unforgottable great time.
The meeting ended with good intentions and wishes. Many thanks to all countries.
