Οι μαθητές της Β τάξης γράφουν ποιήματα με θέμα τα ανθρώπινα δικαιώματα στον πόλεμο και την ειρήνη.
Το πρώτο ποίημα ανήκει στον Στέλιο Ντάντο.
The trumpet of war suddenly blows
the blood of hatred in people’s veins flows.
There’s no more love, hope or compassion
it’s all gone away. Such an absurd action!
And as the skies turn grey,
bombs and guns insufferable becomes the pain
innocent souls cry and hide;
as if they had committed a crime
Agony, oppression, despair,
that’s what it is!
Dying for the sake of few
they want no more peace
Countless dreams, goals and aspirations
finally reached their expirations.
The violence that reigns is illimitable
but they don’t know
that if we unite, we are invincible.
