Eυρωπαϊκά Προγράμματα (Fair-play, Responsible, Inclusive, Emphatetic, Non-Violent and Dedicated School)
Our Erasmus+ project entitled “Fair-play, Responsible, Inclusive, Emphatetic, Non-Violent and Dedicated School” was successfully completed and all the goals we set from the beginning were achieved. All the students of our school participated with great enthusiasm even those who had some disabilities had the opportunity to play a leading role. Our students gained confidence and they were so excited and happily looking forward to participating in other Erasmus projects. For the students it was the opportunity to communicate with young people in Europe, to improve their learning skills with new innovative programs, to study and discover knowledge through different approaches, to express their creativity beyond the narrow confines of our own education system, to travel and get to know different cultures and to become aware of their diversity, to break away from stereotypes and prejudices. Students developed their communication skills, their artistic sense, their team spirit and fair-play.
By developing these skills pupils attitudes changed in a positive way and they became more aware of the effects that school violence can have. They came in contact with different and innovative ways of learning, got acquainted with new technologies. As participants gained more experience and confidence. The benefits of the Erasmus + school partnerships on all involved was: For the students: Intercultural competence / awareness raising: increasing knowledge about partner countries and cultures. Increased language skills in the mother tongue and in foreign languages. Knowledge and awareness of different cultures. Improving self-confidence and taking initiatives. Increased ICT skills. Learning and familiarizing with applications. Teamwork, cooperation, communication. Gaining motivation for lessons and all cognitive subjects.
For teachers: Acquaintance with the culture of other countries and application of new teaching methods. Deepening and exploration of scientific interests. Creating motivation for collaboration in an interdisciplinary team. Improving ICT skills. Improving project management skills. Development of lifelong cognitive skills. Creating strong bonds with partner partners. Improvement and development in foreign languages. Incentives for vocational training and skills development.
For school: Improving the school climate Enrichment of the educational program with innovative actions. By increasing the safety of students in school our institution will be considered as friendly school. Familiarity with the idea of European education and society. Ability to compare and evaluate the training provided. Possibility of organizing workshops. Development of interdisciplinary approaches. Changes in school organization and management support. Better teamwork among teachers.
For parents: Their cooperation with the school and the teachers of the program was impeccable. They were supportive in the implementation of the program. Their children came into contact with educational systems, traveled and got to know different cultures School life became more interesting and we all felt members of a large European family, Erasmus+ family
24o ΔΗΜΟΤΙΚΟ ΣΧΟΛΕΙΟ ΗΡΑΚΛΕΙΟΥ
Σε μια εποχή που καταλαβαίνουμε περισσότερο από ποτέ ότι η περιβαλλοντική καταστροφή, η αύξηση του πληθυσμού, ο πληθωρισμός της ενέργειας και οι τάσεις της οικονομικής ύφεσης, κρίνεται απαραίτητο ότι ο κόσμος του μέλλοντος χρειάζεται οικολογικά σκεπτόμενους πολίτες που θα μπορούν να σχεδιάσουν και να δημιουργήσουν βιώσιμα συστήματα. Στόχος μας ήταν να γίνει κατανοητό ότι τα επόμενα χρόνια η επιβίωσή μας θα συνδεθεί με την οικολογική μας παιδεία η οποία πρέπει να αποτελεί σημαντικό μέρος της εκπαίδευσης. Έτσι προσπαθήσαμε μέσα από τα δύο προγράμματα Erasmus “Take your backpack and come with me” και “Greenprint: Ecological Literacy”, που ολοκληρώθηκαν φέτος, να επηρεάσουμε τους μαθητές μας έτσι ώστε να βγουν έξω και να γνωρίσουν την ομορφιά της φύσης που μας περιβάλει και μας δίνει ζωή και να ενεργούν με ταυτότητα οικολογικής παιδείας έτσι ώστε να την προστατέψουν. Νιώθουμε πραγματικά τυχεροί κι εμείς οι εκπαιδευτικοί και οι μαθητές μας για την εμπειρία ζωής που μας δόθηκε!!!!!!!!
