The aims of the project will be:
to get to know each other;
To send and receive Christmas cards;
To develop children’s skills by taking part in something new;
To develop motivation to study a foreign language;
To introduce vocabulary connected to Christmas;
Spending time in a nice, before-Christmas atmosphere;
Practising English;
Practising art skills.

Finding partners and collecting addresses of all partners schools (October)
Making a students list (October)
Teachers and students introduce themselves and their schools in the TwinSpace through: a short video, presentation, photos etc. (November)
Designing and making a Christmas card (November): each student designs and makes one or two Christmas card and writes Christmas wishes on it.
Sending the handmade Christmas cards by post (last week of November)
Creating a school exhibition (last week before Christmas): making a poster or organise a classroom display of received Christmas cards.
“Christmas time in our Countries” (the second week of December): students take photos of their home towns at Christmas time and, with the help of the teacher, publish them on TwinSpace.
“Christmas fun-time” (November-January): students practice English using the Christmas vocabulary, through various games.
Final greetings in various ways posted on the twin-space, for all participating students

Hand-make Christmas cards;
school exhibitions realised with a classroom display of received Christmas cards;
photographs and some other materials uploaded to TwinSpace;
Game and worksheets in english;
– Children will be motivated to learn English and meet people from other countries.
