Furthermore when we are refering to English as a foreign language, projects give an excellent opportunity to children:

1. to learn some basic vocabulary about the environment

2. to use this vocabulary to create different genres of text (posters, brochures, cognitive charts …) and

3. to make use of the language in order to

inform others of the problem.
