Ο Ευγένιος Τριβιζάς γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα το 1946. Σπούδασε νομικά και οικονομικά και είναι καθηγητής εγκληματολογίας στην Αγγλία. Διδάσκει στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Ρέντινγκ (Reading), όπου διατελεί Ομότιμος Καθηγητής, και σε άλλα πανεπιστήμια. Είναι γνωστός ως συγγραφέας βιβλίων για παιδιά από τεσσάρων χρονών και πάνω. Όλα του τα έργα τα χαρακτηρίζει πρωτοτυπία και μεγάλη φαντασία.

Έχει γράψει περίπου 150 βιβλία μεταξύ των οποίων μυθιστορήματα, παραμύθια, θεατρικά έργα, αλφαβητάρια, διηγήματα, κόμικς, εκπαιδευτικά βιβλία, ενώ έχει συνεργαστεί και με παιδικά περιοδικά. Από τα πιο γνωστά του έργα είναι η Φρουτοπία και το “Νησί των πυροτεχνημάτων”.

Rachel Renee Russell (born March 13, 1959) is an American author of the #1 New York Times Best Selling humorous children’s book series, Dork Diaries.
Life[edit]
Rachel Renee Russell currently resides in northern Virginia. She grew up in Saint Joseph, Michigan and has two younger sisters and younger twin brothers. Rachel wrote her first book in 6th grade as a birthday present for her brothers. Her two daughters, Erin and Nikki, help write and illustrate the book series.
Work[edit]
Dork Diaries chronicles the daily life of the main character, Nikki Maxwell, as she struggles to fit in and survive middle school. The book series is written in a diary format and includes doodles, drawings and comic strips.
According to the author’s website, the Dork Diaries books are based on the middle school experiences of her two daughters, Erin and Nikki. Her older daughter, Erin, helps with writing and her younger daughter, Nikki, helps with illustrations. The main character, Nikki Maxwell, is named after her daughter.
