Μια τελευταία σκέψη (greek)/ The last thought about the project

When in the fall we decided to participate in this process (both students and teacher) we were quite enthusiastic. We couldn’t imagine then that this project would turn out to be our “Ithaca”. That is a journey full of surprises, adventure and true learning. There were quite a few the moments we thought we were about to reach the end of our journey but a new path emerged for us to explore. The students were always eager to face new challenges, so in many cases they motivated their classmates to contribute to this program as well. Their energy and curiosity as well as their skills regarding the use of technology greatly surprised and motivated me to take initiative and be creativ, too. This program is quite distinctive of its pioneering and creative actions which offer one the opportunity to get acquainted with other cultures as well as follow new paths of knowledge. I would like to give my special thanks to:My colleague Adele Berezovskja of the school Azuolas in Prienai, Lithuania, to the students and the director of the 2d High School of Xylokastro during the year 2008-2009 Mr. Papanikolaou. The English teachers of our school Mrs. Dimopoulou Georgia for the year 2008-2009 and Mrs. Kanioura Ourania for the year 2009-2010 as well as my colleague Foteini Kavetsou. The Greek School Network for hosting us in its blog. The Greek School Network development group for its invaluable help. All our students not only for their co-operation but also for all the things I learned and I am still learning from them. The picture was drawn by the student Nikoloulias Jim.  The teacher responsible for this program Sofia G. Smyrni.
